Jim Sonzero – Director Of Pulse

Jim Sonzero is the director of the 2006 remake horror Pulse. In 2009 he was the creative director of cinematics for Resident Evil 5. He wrote and directed War of the Angels, a 1999 drama staring Matthew Carey as a Nazi radio star who struggles with his patriotism and morals during the imminent fall of Nazi Germany. In addition to films, Sonzero directed the music video “Can’t Let Go” by Mariah Carey.


Samm Levine – Tim

Samm Levine plays Tim in the 2006 horror film Pulse. He is best known for his role as Neal on the excellent but short lived television series Freaks and Geeks on NBC. Since Freaks and Geeks, Samm Levine has made appearances in Spin City, Boston Public, Yes Dear, Undeclared, The Drew Carey Show, That’s So Raven, That ’70s Show, How I Met Your Mother, My Name Is Earl, Entourage, and Family Guy. He also played a small role along side his Pulse co-star Kirsten Bell in Veronica Mars.

Samm Levine’s movie roles include Not Another Teen Movie, Club Dread, Anderson’s Cross, Sydney White, What I Like About You, and he is one of the Inglorious Bastards in the Quentin Tarantino movie, Inglorious Bastards. Levine is also the youngest member of the New York Friars’ Club. Though he’s yet to play a leading role, this supporting actor from Chicago Illinois is a recognizable face in any cast.


Rick Gonzalez – Stone

Rick Gonzalez appears in Pulse, the 2006 thriller as the character Stone, who is friends with the main character Mattie, played by Kristin Stewart. Gonzalez first started acting when he was young, taking part in every school play he could. His first role was as Sanchez in the small made for TV movie, Thicker Than Blood. His first on screen role was as Ricky in the movie Mambo Café and later participated in the film Prince of Central Park.

After moving to LA in 2000 he appeared in a small role in Crocodile Dundee, The Rookie, Biker Boyz, and played the role of Tom Cruz in Coach Carter. He appeared in a few music videos for songs that were featured on the Coach Carter soundtrack, Snitch by Obie Trice and All Night Long by Red Café. Gonzalez is best known for his role in Old School with Will Ferrel, Vince Vhaughn and Luke Wilson and also appeared in War of The Worlds as the character Vincent. Gonzalez has also appeared in a few television shows, Law And Order, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Touched By An Angel, and Reaper.


Christina Milian – Izzie

Christina Milian plays the best friend of Kristen Bell in the 2006 horror movie Pulse. Though Milian is best known for her music, this Jersey girl originally wanted to be an actress. Her first role was in Love Don’t Cost A Thing and appeared as a main character in Be Cool. She played a minor role in the 2009 film, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past as Keelia and stared in the lead role of Bring It On: Fight To The Finish.

Milian has seen some success with her music, her first self titled album made an appearance on the UK charts, “AM to PM” and “When You Look At Me” both peaking in the top 3. Her first American single, “Dip It Low” was released in 2004 on her album “It’s About Time” and has since released two more albums, “So Amazin’” and “Elope”. A year after releasing her latest album Elope, featuring a single ballad, Us Against The World, this actress / musician eloped herself in Las Vegas to singer songwriter The-Dream.


Ian Somerhadler – Dexter

Ian Somerhadler plays a supporting role in the 2006 horror flick Pulse. Somerhadler was a male model in his early years, modeling for Guicci, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and was the face of Guess? for two falls seasons. He first broke into the acting business as Hamilton Flemming in the television show Young Americans. Since then he has appeared in CSI, CSI: Miami, Law and Order, Smallville and was a main cast member of the popular television series Lost. Ian Somerhadler’s character, Boone Carlyle was killed off in the first season, but still returns to the show in dreams and flashbacks.

Most recently Ian Somerhadler appears as Damon Salvatore in the Vampire Diaries. His character is the brooding dark brother of Stefan Salvatore, played by Paul Wesly and they are both vampires. With all of the vampire buzz these days, the show will inevitably see success which is good news for this rising star from Louisiana.


Kristen Bell – Mattie

Kristen Bell plays the leading role as Mattie in the 2006 horror film Pulse. First recognized for her leading role in Veronica Mars (2004-2007), where she plays a young private investigator, Bell has since been a voice actor for the popular video game Assassin’s Creed and the newly released Assassin’s Creed II. She is the narrator of the popular television show, Gossip Girl. She has had major roles in the movies Fan Boys, Couples Retreat, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and even appeared in twelve episodes of Heroes.

Born in Michigan Detroit, she became interested in drama and dance when she was in high school. Kristen Bell had an agent by the time she was 13 and appeared in her first credited role in the American comedy, Pootie Tang.

She seems to be the favorite of many geeky boys out there, especially after her role as a star wars fan girl in Fan Boys (dressed in the famous Princess Leia bikini) and her likeness and voice being used for Lucy Stillman in Assassin’s Creed. She was voted the fourth sexiest woman on television by Wizard magazine and was named “One of the 11 People You’d Most Want To See Naked” by Jane magazine. Bell is currently working on three films that will be released in 2010; When In Rome, You Again, and Burlesque.
